I'm gonna counter-signal this one. Stupid has the ability to do evil and then claim "I didn't know!" as an excuse when their actions harm others. Every bad thing that has anyone has ever done to me over the course of my life, ignorance or "stupid" was the excuse, not malice or exploitation. Give me smart sociopaths over stupid with power and authority any day.

Ahh, you were the one person I was *most* hoping would like this! I'd like to explore this topic with you more in depth, as someone who's familiar with the territory and has already pioneered an overlooked justice issue.

It sounds like using stupid as an excuse for evil, is itself a smart sociopath move rather than an innocent manifestation of stupidity. Like saying "I should be acquitted of murder because I'm gay." Identifying with an oppressed group is not a license to do evil.

Once my podcast space is setup (soon!) why don't we do a discussion in that format? I'm looking to do more "debate" shows where me and the guest disagree but are open to conversation.
