Morality and knowledge are inseparable

This connection between morality and epistemology shows a way in which truth in action (morality) and truth in representation (knowledge) are inseparable.

Without truth in action, we become unable to distinguish truth in representation, because we can’t help but mangle our thinking to maintain a false sense of our innocence. (i.e., to avoid pain)

Only real moral innocence permits real rational thinking.
